 As described in the NYLEX section of the Wortley Group website here are a few simple care instructions to follow when purchasing Vinyl for your Lounge suite or chair.
Care Instructions
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- Don't place furniture too close to any direct heat source (ie. radiator or heater).
- Avoid sharp objects (buckles, jewellery, keys, pet claws etc) near your furniture.
- Common cleaning materials can cause severe damage and costly repairs. Never use paints, solvents, nail varnish, dyes, felt pens or dyed cloths (use only a colour fast cloth).
- Avoid the use of dyed cloths unless you are sure it is dye-fast when wet.
- Rotate reversible cushions regularly.
- Vacuum your furniture regularly.
- Shampoo using an upholstery shampoo (test on an inconspicuous area first
- Do not use common household detergents.
- Do not wet filling.
- Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Allow thorough drying before re-use.
- Regularly remove any excess spills or soil such as perspiration, grime, body oils, hair creams and gels from the surface of the furniture.
- Warning Do not remove any part for separate cleaning. Do not machine wash. Do not dry clean.
